When you want to improve, the first step is to become aware of the weaknesses which may be holding you back and preventing your evolution. These might be things like your pride and short temper, your insatiable need for praise, your need to dominate, or your struggle to tolerate criticism.
April Bowlby has a variety of talents, but it can sometimes be difficult for her to concentrate on a single center of interest. She is ruled by her nervousness and her suggestibility, which can make it difficult for her to use her adaptive abilities to their fullest potential and sometimes she doesn’t take the time to formulate the solutions to her problems. To be truly effective, she needs to learn to control her jittery mind; otherwise, she will drain her nervous system of energy. If she experiences respiratory problems, like asthma (due to her nerves), it will be a signal that the need to change is urgent.
April Bowlby is something of a social butterfly. Although she claims to be looking for a soulmate, it is tough for her to remain interested in any one partner for very long. She enjoys the mental stimulation of bubbly, worldly relationships with a variety of people. If she allows herself to become aware of the scope of her frustration, she might understand that her pleasure-seeking attitude is merely a flight from her true self.
April Bowlby’s emotions are fluctuating and unstable. Although she has the ability to detach herself from her emotions to analyze and observe them, this tendency sometimes prevents her from truly engaging herself in emotional terms and may act as a defense against any emotional impact. This is the reason why she subjects all her feelings to an intellectual interpretation rather than yielding to them. It is also the reason why she might falter, hesitate, contradict herself and seem to say both yes and no when she has an opportunity to commit herself emotionally. She should make a conscious effort to overcome this unconscious conditioning which may be related to her childhood. She must first learn to observe and assimilate other people’s feelings instead of rejecting them. This exercise will teach her to understand her own reactions and affects better.
April Bowlby often sets unrealistic goals for herself and tends to be impractical. These tendencies are particularly evident when it comes to her emotional relationships. At first, she idealizes the potential partner, one who will put her on a pedestal, but then she may try to dodge commitment. In other life pursuits, she tends to rush into poorly thought-out activities. If she does not alter these tendencies, life will step in to make her slow down and induce her to organize herself with more patience and forethought.
April Bowlby
April Bowlby is sensitive and impressionable, which can be a productive and creative factor, but if she doesn’t manage to control her emotionalism, it could hamper her adaptation to the realities of life. If that were to be the case, her ability to find happiness within herself could gradually cut her off from her environment. She must thus work on detaching herself from her emotions and getting a handle on her sensitivity. Her intuitive ability to perceive other people’s inner energies could predestine her for a socially oriented career. As a caregiver, healer, helper, guide, or advisor, she could succeed in teaching, psychology or psychiatry, or social work.
