If Booker T were to evaluate his psychological development, he would place more value upon human warmth, intimacy, and the need to share than upon intellectual understanding or personal freedom of expression.

Booker T looked at the woman across from him. She was beautiful, with her long, dark hair flowing around her shoulders. She had an enchanting look in her eyes, and she seemed to be filled with emotions. She was stirring something inside of him, something he couldn’t put a finger on. He felt drawn to her, and he could tell she felt the same way about him. They had met a few times before, and each time they had felt a deep connection to each other. They didn’t know what it was, but they knew they had to find out.

Booker T is aware of a lack of confidence in himself and in life. Prone to apathy, as if deprived of optimism and cheerfulness at some time, he may often be discouraged by the strains of living. This reluctance to accept the challenges of existence, which he may perceive as a major problem, may be the result of a self-image which is elusive or flawed. Perhaps, as a child, he was not given the means to develop an ideal image due to the lack of an appropriate role model or caregiver. As a result, he is unable to move himself toward an improved, more positive disposition. He may reject any challenge that would enable him to surpass his current self, or accept it only after long meditation. Steeped in the awareness of his problem, he may be tormented and wish to change. Vigorous physical exercise and an effort to visualize an admirable figure would be beneficial to him, as well as a diet that includes vitality-bolstering vitamins and protein.
