Brooklyn experiences her inner life as a process of growth and maturation, nurtured by her involvement with others and the positive and negative encounters this generates.

Relatively extroverted, Brooklyn Queen leads a life which is open to the outside world. Her personal consciousness is forged by the heat of outer events. She is inclined to adopt the most objective viewpoint possible to be pragmatic and perhaps even materialistic.

Brooklyn Queen demonstrates great interest in the outside world, social affairs, and anything else that contributes to the growth and development of society as a whole. Clubs, organizations, and other forms of partnership attract Brooklyn Queen’s attention and motivate Brooklyn Queen’s behavior. Brooklyn Queen tries to protect Brooklyn Queen from Brooklyn Queen’s subjectivity by adopting an impersonal approach to life. Devoted to the common cause, Brooklyn Queen’s destiny is no longer Brooklyn Queen’s alone. It is almost entirely controlled by the people whose cause Brooklyn Queen has espoused.

Brooklyn Queen needs to assert her originality. She is individualistic and independent and lives life according to her own rules. People and things matter to her only insofar as they relate to her, and she ignores or disregards any annoyances she may encounter. Her passions are lively and ardent, and she truly loves to give. She is endowed with great authenticity and can be quite generous, as long as she is aware that others admire her.

Brooklyn Queen struggles to get into natural harmony with the physical world and the limitations and restraints it places upon her. Idealistic, she tends to be somewhat disconnected from practical considerations, and barely pays any attention to material things like food, money, her surroundings, and so on. She tends to be footloose and fancy-free, oblivious to the necessities of survival in the physical world, until her lack of material resources – an issue to which she usually grants no importance – becomes an emergency.

This feeling of being out of touch with material things and the physical dimension of reality may sometimes lead her to see herself as unfit for this world. She may think she cannot attach herself to anything that would sustain her efforts at self-expression.

However, her impractical nature offers many positive aspects. She sees life’s possibilities as limitless. She is apt to develop her imagination or pursue a spiritual quest in order to transcend the material world.
