Drake’s psyche follows an introverted flow. He knows himself and attempts to develop his inner resources to their maximum potential.
Relatively extroverted, Drake leads a life which is open to the outside world. His personal consciousness is forged by the heat of outer events. He is inclined to adopt the most objective viewpoint possible to be pragmatic and perhaps even materialistic.
Drake demonstrates great interest in the outside world, social affairs, and anything else that contributes to the growth and development of society as a whole. Clubs, organizations, and other forms of partnership attract Drake’s attention and motivate Drake’s behavior. Drake tries to protect Drake from Drake’s subjectivity by adopting an impersonal approach to life. Devoted to the common cause, Drake’s destiny is no longer Drake’s alone. It is almost entirely controlled by the people whose cause Drake has espoused.
Drake has a tendency to identify with others. He forms friendships easily and naturally and enjoys participating in other people’s lives. Sociable, he enjoys being seen and appreciate popularity and recognition. Solitude bores him. His life and personal relations are in sync with his friendships and outer events. Most often, he shares the opinion of others.
Sentimental and emotional, Drake lives in a world which is in continual contact with his dreams and subconscious. He cannot live without love, and, like water which flows into and takes on the shape of the vessel which contains it, he is always ready to submerge himself in another person. Stirred by forces he does not control, he may be aroused by passions which are impervious to the restraints of reason and logic. He is an emotive creature in harmony with the flow of his feelings, impulses, and urges.
Although Drake may not necessarily notice the fact about himself because he is so strongly engaged in actions, feelings, or material concerns, he sometimes lacks sound judgment. This impairment arises from a difficulty in obtaining perspective on himself and his life. He may be puzzled by his troubled relations with others.
Drake must make an effort to detach himself from his personal reaction and observe it from an objective, more distant standpoint. If not, he is likely to find himself under stress or pressure because he did not give enough prior thought to tactics and strategy.
Drake may also experience dissatisfaction in his intimate relationships because he might struggle to get in sync with others.
Drake gives little time or respect to anyone he sees as too “intellectual,” because he resists adapting to new ideas and viewpoints. In fact, an idea that rubs him the wrong way mentally and/or emotionally may elicit an explosive reaction. Self-analysis can be challenging for Drake and he tends to refuse to develop a solid, permanent idea of himself – and this plays a lot of tricks on him.
