Sam may tend to be too self-focused. However, Sam is likely to encounter situations in life which require that Sam adapt to new and unfamiliar circumstances by changing Sam’s system of values. If Sam clings to a narrow vision of the truth, certain relationship experiences may shatter it, leaving Sam with a feeling of loss and disorientation until Sam recovers. The best cure would be putting Sam’s determination into changing Sam’s life and concentrating on new goals.
