Smoke tries to avoid contact with others because they are hesitant to team up. They try to free themselves from any outside influence and often rebuff the help of others. Only by working independently can Smoke achieve their goals and ambitions.

Smoke’s concern is with their own subjective interests. Because the development of their personal identity requires great individual freedom of action, they try to free themselves from outer restraints and limitations. Psychologically self-centered, they remain fairly detached from the social world. They reduce such commitments to the strict minimum. Individualistic and egocentric, they derive their feelings of inner security from their ability to command their will and handle their personal involvements freely and openly.

Smoke’s intuition, thought, and inner perceptions predominate in its psyche. Open and curious, optimistic and enthusiastic, Smoke is eager to participate in everything happening around it. Its affections are lively and spontaneous, but may be more intellectual than sensual. In a partner, Smoke seeks a source of mutual spiritual or artistic inspiration. Light-hearted and perhaps even fickle, Smoke never allows itself to be overcome by outer realities or emotions. In its most exaggerated form, Smoke’s buoyancy borders on indifference.
