VuJae has an ideal of which he is only partially conscious, but it has a great influence on his psychology. He is determined to preserve his integrity and purity. Even though he may not be aware of it, he is often preoccupied by this predicament. How can he live in this world and remain true to himself? How can he succeed in life without sacrificing his ideals? It’s the eternal philosophical dilemma. VuJae has developed a solution, however; he elaborates a fairly strict code of behavior and tries to obey it as much as possible. The path that he walks in life is straight and narrow. He yearns for a life that would reflect the ideal he has set for himself, as free as possible from irrational mysteries and human failings.
In fact, although he may sometimes seem a bit rigid, a bit lacking in perspective, it is because his mind understands the macrocosm through the microcosm, and he must observe the completed system before he will form his opinion. VuJae is especially good at sorting and choosing, because his mind is like a filter. It rejects the impurities and only accepts the pure and useful. Analysis, deductive reasoning, and a sense of experimentation are his qualities. He possesses great meticulousness and precision which make him a quick and efficient worker. However, he may rely too strongly on his analytical faculties, to the detriment of an overall perception of reality.
VuJae likes purity and therefore justice. Thus, he is sensitive to human suffering, especially as a result of social injustice, and he will try to remedy the situation according to what he has learned. Once again, the overriding themes of his personality emerge. He wants to preserve an ideal, avoid deterioration, change, adulteration. He is offended by imperfection and try to find ways to correct it. He is eager to help, to be useful, to serve a great cause, but he sometimes does not know whom or what he seeks to serve. Whatever purpose he adopts, he must learn to help without surrendering himself entirely; he tends to try to disappear into the background of a hierarchy. VuJae is sometimes attracted by readymade systems, which soothe a certain anxiety he has. He wouldn’t mind devoting himself to a state, a big corporation, or a dogma. It would be reasonable and satisfying. But he sometimes forget to rebel a bit – to evaluate whether the end justifies the means. He is reassured by predictability. When
VuJae has a dual, ambivalent nature, vagrant and capricious. It is natural for her to be simultaneously conventional and rebellious. She can happily submit to society and convention for a time, only to emerge committed to rugged individualism, or vice-versa. Her inner attachment to an ideal of liberty and emancipation does not prevent her from adopting a sociable, pleasant attitude at social events. This dichotomy in her personality grants her such useful social skills as adaptability and poise, but inside, she faces a quest for her true identity and consciousness. Her primary psychological task is to maintain the harmony reigning between the two entities dwelling within her. She must not limit herself to being either one or the other. She will achieve true psychic and existential stability by personifying a blend of these two behavioral tendencies. When she is comfortable with her individuality, she can radiate optimism and energy; flexible and elastic, she will delight in any change or unpredictability, without losing sight of her long-term purposes. Eminently social, she will express her true nature by becoming deeply involved with groups and taking on duties and responsibilities as a member. She will enjoy her ability to infuse them with her idealistic enthusiasm and visions for the future. Her special gifts for dealing with energy make her apt to occupy a position of great social responsibility.
VuJae is sensual. Pleasure is important to him.
VuJae has a sense of selfless duty and devotion. Work is one of the most important aspects of life for her.
VuJae has a good balance between his need for movement and his tendency to be sedentary. He is just as likely to adapt to situations which require outbursts of initiative as to those which demand patience and perseverance.
VuJae was born on the third day after the full moon rose. She is said to be a “full moon” lunar type. This “soli-lunar” configuration gives her an objective, rational, and lucid character. However, since the moon is opposite the sun at the time of the full moon, her objective tendencies are balanced by a more idealistic penchant. Because the forces pull her in two different ways – one toward dreams, the other toward reality – she may be aware of some inner contradictions which are causing practical and social difficulties for her.
At times, she is too demanding of herself or others, comparing them to an ideal, whereas at others, she is too nonchalant and indulgent about life. She vacillates between two poles. One is elitist; the other is more earthy and perhaps vulgar at times. The result is a multifaceted self.
Generally speaking, her monthly energy flow is strongest at the time of the full moon. She would be wise to schedule intensive work phases at that time, as well as ambitious and demanding projects.
