Yoga for Aries

How Aries can get their Om on…

If you’re spooked by the idea of needles, chemicals, or surgery, but you still want to brighten your look, try a different kind of yoga. Face yoga workouts are said to promote the production of collagen, stimulate the muscles, and reduce wrinkles. Each pose targets a specific area, such as “fish” for lips and cheeks, “bumblebee” for jaw, and “lion” for all the facial muscles. Look for books, websites, and videos demonstrating the difference poses and put your best face forward!

Best Taurus Vacations

Vacation with a purpose…

Perhaps you aren’t completely happy in your job, but the thought of leaving makes you nervous. Taurus likes to stay put! But sometimes that isn’t what’s best for your career. The next time you take a well-deserved break, rather than head off to a resort, why not put a little vocation in that vacation?

If there’s something you’ve harbored a desire to try but never had the opportunity, here’s your chance! Find an organization that lets you “intern” with professionals so you can see what that job is like. Do you have a secret desire to design theater sets, craft artisanal cheeses, keep bees, train horses? Try it! It may not be for you, but there’s a chance you could find your true calling!

The Bull, Creature of Habit

Familiarity breeds commitment for Taurus…

Unlike Gemini, who wants to be everywhere and doing everything at once, daily rituals make Taurus feel comfortable. And unlike Sagittarius or Aquarius, who thrive on change, Taurus loves the familiar. The Bull also values the security of a long-term bond. You can tie the knot with Taurus by appealing to their practical side (some of the benefits of marriage include taxes and shared living costs). They like a home that’s comfortable and stylish (not necessarily costly). Show your love and pride in your Taurus partner every day and don’t go to bed angry and you can live happily ever after!

Want Perfect Posture, Taurus?

Stretching helps your posture Taurus…

Unless you took ballet lessons, your posture may be less than perfect. If you carry your head too far forward, you could be putting too much strain on neck and shoulder muscles, causing chronic aches and pains. Stretching can help.

Sit with feet flat on floor, hands on thighs.

Drop chin and relax the back of your neck. Hold for 30 seconds.

Return to starting position and repeat twice.

To stretch the neck, stand with feet hip width apart, shoulders relaxed, arms by your sides.

Gently tilt head to one side, feel the stretch in the other side of your neck. Hold for 10 to 15 seconds.

Switch sides.

Repeat twice on each side.

Taurus Above Everything!

Cate Blanchett stays true to her Taurus nature…

Nothing is more important to Taurus than family, and Aussie star Cate Blanchett is proof of that. The star of dozens of films, including Oscar and Lucinda, Elizabeth, Ocean’s 8 and Lord of the Rings, moved with her husband and children back to Australia. Her goal? Be closer to family, give her boys a permanent home, and be near the Australian theater community.

This earth sign native is outspoken on behalf of environmental causes as well as women’s rights. Accepting the Best Actress Oscar for her acclaimed performance in Blue Jasmine, she spoke out about the power of films about women. “Audiences want to see them, and in fact they earn money,” she said. “The world is round, people!”

Choose Words Carefully, Gemini

Ask the right questions to get the right answer, Gemini…

You’re a versatile multitasker, always seeking, always asking questions. If you have a big decision to make, your impatience might lead you to just choose randomly, which could be a bad thing if the consequences are really important.

Go ahead and do what you do best—ask questions—but ask the right ones. Ask the wrong ones and you’re sure to get the wrong answer. You may try to convince yourself that you’re moving in with your S.O. because you’re so very much in love and life together will be perfect but be sure there isn’t something else going on. Are you running away from rather than to something? Make sure you know before you act!

Fit in a Split, Gemini!

(Almost) effortless exercise for Geminis…

Your sign is susceptible to accidents and injuries to your shoulders, arms, and hands, so be sure to build up their strength. You’re always busy, so nobody is suggesting that you spend hours at the gym (although you might meet some interesting people there). Tone up your biceps with some curls or squeeze a rubber ball while you’re talking on the phone at home. Do a few modified pushups against the wall. Bend your neck from side to side to stretch out the kinks. You know what they say about an ounce of prevention!

Gemini, Communicator Extraordinaire!

Geminis are true pros in this important work realm…

The gift of gab was bestowed upon you at birth. Keep an audience enthralled? No prob. You have encyclopedic knowledge at the tip of your tongue and a desire to share it without even being asked.

Some jobs were tailor-made for certain signs, and yours could include teacher, TV reporter, lawyer, or actor. You could talk all day long and get paid for it! You know you can tell a good story to engage listeners, and you have an elephant’s memory for all those facts or theatrical lines. Think about it!

Become a Mentor, Cancer

The best way to use your caring nature to help the world…

The word “empathetic” was probably coined to describe Cancer. You patiently listen and offer intuitive advice to all. You may work in a helping field like teaching, healthcare, or therapy, but your skills can be applied in any profession.

If you’re looking for a way to be of service, consider mentoring. As a mentor you can help shape the course of a young life. At-risk youth with a supportive, caring, encouraging adult in their life are 55% likelier to attend college. Many organizations are dedicated to promoting this valuable opportunity. Think about it!

Stress Relief for Cancers

How Cancers can quickly alleviate stress and tension…

You tend to worry and are prone to nervous tension and emotional stress. A furrowed brow isn’t the secret to radiant beauty! While you don’t need to live crablike in seclusion, you can reap health benefits by relaxing in a sea-like place.

In a restricted stimulation/isolation tank, you’ll float weightlessly in salty, shallow water inside a dark, warm chamber. Some say you can achieve a state of relaxation not unlike deep meditation. Traffic, deadlines, or a peevish partner suddenly seems no big deal. And you’ll sleep better. The effects of one session can last a week!
